Partners In Wellness

Mission

The mission of the Partners In Wellness program is to provide early diagnostic/preventive health services (specifically for breast, cervix, colorectal, and prostate cancer) in particular for the medically underserved and minority segments of our population.

The ultimate aim of the program is to reduce cancer mortality in Louisiana through early detection (and treatment) of the disease.

Partners In Wellness is a community outreach program established by LSUHSC-Monroe/E.A. Conway Medical Center and the LSU Health Care Services Division to provide free cancer screening of the breast, cervix, or prostate to the citizens of Northeast Louisiana.

Early detection is the key to treatment and cure in cancer. LSUHSC/EACMC provides screening and diagnostic services to both men and women, regardless of age or economic status.

The program emphasizes the importance of regular cancer screening and a healthy lifestyle and diet through health education.
